Chile has plenty of artists. During military government, most of them had to flea and were revealed worldwide. For example: the musical bands IIlapu, Inti Illimani, Congreso, all still releasing records. Nowadays, the United States produce and release many Chilean artists’records, such as La Ley, Los Tres, Lucybell, Myriam Hernandez, etc.

Chilean litterature from « el Fin Del Mundo » is a fascinating subject. We will highlight both Nobel Prizes winners Gabriela Mistral in 1945 and Pablo Neruda in 1971 (at this time, he was the Chilean Ambassador in France) but also numerous contemporary authors: Francisco Coloane : the Patagonian writer (passed away in 2002), Antonio Skarmeta, Luis Sepulveda, Nicanor Parra, Marcela Serrano, Isabel Allende, etc.
